Privacy policy

You can browse and install free items without an account, and we collect nothing personal then. When you sign in or buy, we keep only what we need to run your account and your license. We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.

• Account: your email address, and the name, username and profile picture your sign-in provider shares with us.
• Purchases: the plan, amount, currency and order status sent to us by Lemon Squeezy. We never see your card.
• License and access keys: stored only as a one-way hash, so we cannot read the key itself.
• Usage: which items are viewed, copied or installed with the CLI, linked to your account when you are signed in.
• Server logs: IP address, browser and requested pages, kept by our hosting provider for security and debugging.

• To sign you in and keep your account working.
• To give Pro access to the right person and check access keys from the CLI.
• To see which items are useful, so we know what to build next.
• To keep the site secure and fix problems.

We use a small number of services to run the site. Each only gets what it needs:

• Supabase: database and sign-in.
• Vercel: hosting and server logs.
• Lemon Squeezy: checkout, payment, taxes and receipts.
• GitHub and Google: only if you choose to sign in with them.

We use a sign-in cookie to keep you logged in, and your browser’s local storage to remember your light or dark mode and the theme you build in the generator. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Account data is kept while your account exists. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require, even after an account is deleted. Usage events are kept in aggregate and lose the link to you when your account is deleted.

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or delete your account and its data at any time by writing to partner@nextui.com. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

If we change how we use your data, we update this page and the date at the top. Material changes are emailed to account holders.
