Terms of service

nextui.dev (“we”, “us”) runs this website, the component registry and the Pro and Team plans. You can reach us at partner@nextui.com.

These terms apply when you use the website, the registry at /r, an account, or when you buy Pro or Team. By creating an account or completing a purchase you accept them. If you buy for a company, you confirm that you may bind it.

The license, the refund policy and the privacy policy are part of these terms.

Free components, blocks, themes, the theme generator and the docs are free to use without an account. Free source code is covered by the free license.

• You need an account to buy and use Pro. You can sign in with GitHub, Google or a link sent to your email.
• An account belongs to one person. Don’t share it or let others sign in with it.
• You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live.
• You can ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to partner@nextui.com.

Pro unlocks the Pro components, blocks and templates, their source, and installing them with the CLI using your access key. Both plans are a single payment, with no renewal:

• Pro: one person, every Pro item, including Pro items released later.
• Team: everything in Pro for up to 10 people on one license.

The current contents are listed on the pricing page. We add and improve items over time and may retire one that no longer works well, but we won’t take away source you have already downloaded.

• Prices are shown in US dollars. The price on the checkout page before you pay is the price you pay.
• Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. Your card details go to Lemon Squeezy and never reach us. Sales tax or VAT is calculated at checkout where it applies.
• Your receipt is emailed after payment. Pro access starts as soon as the payment succeeds.

Pro is digital content you get immediately, so purchases are generally final. If something you bought doesn’t work as described and we can’t fix it, we refund you. The refund policy has the details.

• Your access key lets the CLI fetch Pro source. Keep it secret, never commit it, and revoke it on your Account page if it leaks.
• Don’t scrape, mirror or bulk download the Pro library for anyone else, and don’t try to get around access checks.
• Don’t use the site in a way that harms it or other users, such as attacks, spam or heavy automated load.

We keep all rights in nextui.dev, its source code, designs, docs and brand. Buying Pro gives you a license to use the source as described in the license; it does not transfer ownership. Sample names, photos and logos in previews are only there to show the components and are not licensed for your product.

We work to keep the site and registry available, but we don’t promise uninterrupted access. The code is provided “as is”. You are responsible for testing it in your own product, including accessibility, security and legal compliance.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect damage such as lost profit or lost data. Mandatory consumer protection laws that apply to you are not affected.

We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms or the license, for example by redistributing Pro source or sharing access keys. Where reasonable we will warn you first.

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and changes never apply to past purchases in a way that disadvantages you. These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
